Hotel Policies

Deposit: Reservations are confirmed with a minimum of 50% deposit, in advance at booking time, depending on the season. Full payment is due 6 weeks before arrival. Room rate is non refundable. Balance payable at check-in with cash/travelers checks. We can´t accept credit cards on Taboga (no banks or ATM´s on the island).

Cancellation: Minimum of 6 weeks cancellation notice is required in order toreceive a refund of your deposit. When we can re-rent your room we will refund the full amount less $35 processing fee.We are not responsible for cancellations or delays due to weather or transportation problems. Guests are responsible for all nights booked. No shows for any reason will be charged the full amount.

Rates: Our rates are subject to change without notice.

Additional guests: $15 per night. If we have availability, we will book for one night but a maid’s fee of $10 will be added.

Banks: There are no banks or ATM’s on Taboga. The nearest ATM is on Amador Causeway, near the Wine Bar Restaurant.

Check In & Check Out: Check in is between 2 and 6 pm. Late check in by special arrangement. Check out time is 11 am. If you do not check out, we will charge an additional night. Late check out on request, at an additional charge, space permitting.

Children: Children are welcome. Children 12 and under are free when staying with parents, up to the apartment or room limit. Over the limit, they must pay the additional person charge.

Day Packages – Only have time to visit Taboga Island for the day? Call us, we can offer you a day package. From $65 for 2, includes a room, and fresh fish lunch.

Enjoy the Beach – Bask in the sunshine, beach comb, rent a cayuko (dugout canoe), swim, or snorkel in the warm tropical waters of Taboga.

Historic Walking Tours - Visit the ruins of Gauguin’s place, check out many pirates’ favorite haunts in San Pedro Town; steeped in history and culture. Walking, about 1 hour exploring the village.

Cultural Experiences - Enjoy local cultural festivals and typical food. Meet the locals.

Hiking and Exploring – Hike the Spanish Cross Trail topped by a 500 year old cross (1.5 hrs. return); the Top of Taboga Trail (3 hrs. return) both with breathtaking views.

Birdwatching and Nature Hikes – Explore vast areas of untouched tropical nature, check out the endangered Brown Pelicans in the Island Preserve or tiny Green Dart Frogs in the forest.

Fishing by Night or Day - Catch fish by night from the pier; hire a local to take you to his favorite spots; or rent a charter boat to head deep sea fishing to find the bigger fish.
