Cabañas Rio Encantado is a magical place located in the highlands of Chiriqui. This lodging is located on the main road to Caldera next to the Caldera River Bridge. It is about 25-30 minutes from Boquete or David.
The owners had a vision of providing ecological lodging, so they built three cabins that are fully equipped. These cabins can lodge 4, 5 or 6 people. Two cabins have one room plus a sofa bed and the third cabin has two rooms. They all have living room areas, dining table, kitchen, air conditioning, safe deposit box, Smart TV, and WiFi. All three cabins have a terrace with sofa and chairs, as well as a BBQ and views to the river, pool and Baru Volcano.
The star attraction of Cabañas Rio Encantado is their unique tree house which is located by a river that flows under it. This tree house can be lit up at night and it has a Tarzan rope to jump into the river. Two people can sleep in the queen size bed with a mosquito net, terrace and private bathroom. There is a kitchen and a dining area below, as well as a shower with hot water.
Cabañas Rio Encantado in Caldera also has hiking trails around the river. Guests can spend time in the family oriented pool and there is a bar area. There is a canopy line that has three stations with two lines. As well as a small museum which showcases pre-columbian archeology found in Chiriqui.
